Meet Jacquelyn Smith, Founder of Bell and Bees: The Heart of Bell and Bees

Hey sis,

Welcome! I’m so excited to share the story behind Bell and Bees Boutique and how it all came to life. It has been a journey of faith, passion, and purpose, and I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride.

From a young age, I always had a love for fashion and a deep desire to encourage others. I first thought my passions would take me into the world of weddings! I know right, not what your first guess would have been, but after doing my first wedding I knew it was not for me. This is the insane part the first wedding I planned was WONDERFUL! The bride was so sweet an old friend of mine, her husband was friendly, friends and family worked well together, food and music was great. I mean a girl couldn't have asked for a better first wedding! But it wasn’t until I took a step back from wedding planning and realized I didn't miss it. So about 2 years later I talked to my CPA who told me we have to either do something with the LLC or let it go. I strongly considered the latter - just let it go. But after praying I felt lead in a different direction maybe one I didn't see before owning a store, a boutique. My mom had told me a dream she had about me owning a store years prior and I felt this dream was something God had planned for me all along. I truly believe that God has blessed me with this opportunity to create something meaningful and beautiful.

Starting Bell and Bees Boutique was more than just launching a business—it was a way for me to serve women of God, offering products that not only look great but also encourage and remind us of our worth to the King. As daughters of the Lord, we are truly special, and I wanted to create a space where we can embrace our uniqueness while uplifting one another. If I can be honest with you, making friends in faith has not always been easy for me. So why go into a business where I will undoubtably meet and connect with people who love the Lord, and maybe even some who want to be friends? Well, don't get it wrong I feel God had sent friends in faith along the way, my issue was I struggled a lot with trust and this makes me distant. I could go on and on about how people in my past have said or done things that made me like this, but this is not a story of sorrow but of victory in Jesus! After all in Christ I am more than a conqueror! And just like I believe Christ is our redeemer, I believe Bell and Bee's is a part of his redeeming power shown in my life to help me have valuable and faith built friendships. I am too excited about this community that will be created here! I hope each and every one of you that purchase a product from us or comment on a post finds encouragement and joy when you are here. I also pray that when you a here you say hello! Trust me my walls have come down some and I try to live more in discernment and instruction now-a-days. (I'm also too glad to share that by the time I gradurated college I made some wonderful friends in faith and if only I could move them all on to the same street so we could be neighbors, life would be even more awesome!)
